The
Snap Box
The
magician displays a small round metal box that when snapped
open reveals four Kennedy half-dollars, which are removed.
The box is shown empty, the lid placed
back on, and snapped closed; thus, making it impossible
for the magician to open it without anyone knowing (because
they would hear a “Snap” sound). One of the four
coins vanishes from the magician’s hand. The box is opened
to reveal the “vanished” coin. This is repeated with the
other three coins one at a time until they have
all magically transported to the box. The Snap
Box comes complete with box, routine, and special coin.

Sense-ational
Perception
Under
the most scrupulous conditions, the mentalist
is able to announce the correct words, numbers, or pictures
created by the audience with amazing accuracy.
Even after much testing of these most incredible feats
of mental ability, the mentalist is still able to know
precisely what is given! Or, the demonstrator introduces
a “Psychic” who is seated with his/her back to the audience.
For added security, the Psychic is fitted with a blindfold.
The demonstrator invites several people up from the audience,
all of whom are asked to write a letter, number, or word
on a clipboard. They can even have a free selection of
a card. Each time the Psychic is asked what was
written or selected, their answer is always correct!
Sense-ational Perception is and electronic cueing device
about the size of a deck of cards used for any two-person
mentalist act. The possibilities for this state-of-the-art
device is endless! - $165

Perplexing
Pen
The performer hands the spectator a regular
looking office pen and is invited to examine it. The performer
then displays a small drinking glass
and asks the spectator to examine it also. The performer places
the pen across the top of the glass. The spectator is then
asked to focus their eyes on the pen and to visualize the
pen moving. Suddenly, defying the laws of gravity,
the pen rotates onto the clip. The spectator is asked to concentrate
even harder, and after a brief pause, the pen turns sideways,
like the second hand of a clock, until it falls off of the
glass and onto the table! The Perplexing Pen is a
completely self-contained trick that DOES NOT use threads
or magnets. Everything can be freely examined before and after
the routine! - $16

Change
Exchange
Four
coins: a Kennedy half-dollar, a Mexican 20 centavo, a Chinese
coin, and a poker chip, are arranged on the table in a “square”
configuration about twelve inches apart. The magician covers
one of the coins with his/her hand while placing the other
hand over a different coin. Magically, the coin
travels invisibly from under one hand to the other.
This is repeated with the other coins. Change Exchange is
basically a “Shadow Coins” or a “Coin Matrix” routine, but
it uses four different coins. This routine
comes complete with full color pictures as well as all of
the coins needed for the effect. - $45

The
Over the years several lock
tricks have been used by mentalists. Key-R-Rect would
be the most known. This version is an extension of Anneman's
"7 Keys to Baldpate" but simpler and more direct.
This is an effect Stewart Judah came up with years ago and
still works well. Basically 5 keys are shown and only
one opens the lock, the keys are mixed and the spectator can
even choose which key will unlock the lock.
